Terms and Conditions

Definitions
1. “ASA” shall mean Akashic Studies Australia.
2. “Jo” is the proprietor of ASA
3. “Client” shall mean the customer of ASA
4. “Services” shall mean all services supplied by ASA to the Client and includes any website content, third party bookings, sales, telephone calls, Zoom and email contact and akashic readings.
5. “Price” shall mean the cost of the Services as advertised on the website of ASA.
Acceptance
1. The use of our website and booking of our services constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions and assumes that in doing so, the client has read and understood the terms.
2. Acceptance of an online booking will be made within 48 hours via email
Services
1. Our full services are described on the Akashic Studies Australia website www.akashicstudiesaustralia.com
Bookings
1. Bookings may be made on the ASA website, in person or by telephone giving advance notice of at least 5 days.
2. Confirmation of booking will be made by return email within 48 hours. If the client does not receive confirmation within this time frame the client should advise Jo by email at jo@akashicstudiesaustralia.com or by telephone contact.
Price and Payment
1. The price of the services is the current price advertised on the website of ASA at the time of booking.
2. If the booking is made online via the ASA website, payment must be made in advance at the time of booking.
3. Payment can be made by Credit Card, Pay-Pal or EFT for online bookings.
4. At its’ discretion ASA may consent to payment by Cash on the day of service prior to the delivery of the service.
5. ASA may however withhold delivery of the Service in part or full, if the client fails to pay in advance or should the client default on a first payment.
6. The Price shall include GST and other taxes and duties which may be applicable by law within Australia.
Delivery Of Services
1. All efforts will be made to adhere to the timeframe allotted to the service but if the client would like to prolong the session due to additional questions or by request, an additional hourly fee or part thereof may be charged.
Cancellation by ASA
1. ASA may cancel these terms and conditions or cancel delivery of Services at any time by email or telephone. ARA shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from such cancellation.
Cancellation by the Client
1. Cancellations must be made in writing by email or SMS by giving at least 24 hours notice. An alternative booking time may then be arranged.
No Refund Policy
1. No refunds will be provided. Clients will be offered the opportunity to make an alternative booking in the event of a cancellation.
Security
1. ASA provides a secure data base and payment platform through PayPal.
Time Zone Differences
1. ASA is located in Adelaide, and operates in the ACST (Australian Central Standard Time) Zone in winter and converts to ACDT (Australian Central Daylight Time) during day light savings. ACDT commences approximately 6 October and ends approximately 6 April.
2. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they observe the time difference using an online time zone converter if necessary and adhere to the appointment time which will be Adelaide, South Australian time.
Telephone Appointments & Readings
1. The Client agrees to the following procedure when the service is provided via telephone or Skype:
  - The Client will make a booking using the on-line calendar on our website.
  - ASA will confirm the booking by email and will include instructions.
  - It is the Clients responsibility to initiate telephone or Skype contact with Jo at the allotted time.
  - If the client does not successfully call in at the correct time, Jo will use her best endeavours to contact the client via Skype or the telephone number provided after the expiry of ten minutes from the scheduled time.
  - In the event that Skype or the telephone number is not available or contact is unsuccessful the appointment will be cancelled and will not be subject to a refund. All reasonable attempts will be made to re-schedule the appointment time.
Recordings
1. ASA do not offer recordings of the readings. Clients may record sessions if they wish but must give advance notice to ASA of their intention to do so.
Use of Bookstore
1. ASA is an affiliated re-seller of selected books and products which may be advertised on its’ website from time to time. ASA may receive an affiliate fee for products sold through clicking on our links.
2. All product orders are shipped by Booktopia who handle all shipping and delivery enquiries.
3. ASA may provide links to other websites. Providing such links should not be regarded as an endorsement of other products or service. Conversely, ASA is not responsible for the content or practices of third party sites that offer links to our website.
Intellectual Property and Copyright
1. Photographs and artwork used in our website are copyrighted and have been purchased by ASA. No liability and responsibility will be accepted for the reproduction and illegal use of artwork copied from our site.
2. All Online content on www.akashicstudiesaustralia.com including, without limitation, text, software, logos, trade names, images, photos, illustrations, audio clips, video clips, and music are our intellectual property.
3. Materials may be downloaded for non-commercial personal use only provided you a) first obtain our written permission b) make no modifications to the materials, c) do not use the materials in a manner that suggests an association with any of our services or brands, d) do not download quantities of materials to a database, server, or personal computer for reuse for commercial purposes and e) do not add, delete, distort or misrepresent any content on the AkashicStudies Australia.com site.
Disclaimer
1. The Client acknowledges that he/she is purchasing a Service relying solely upon his/her own judgement and understanding of the services offered. ASA shall not be held responsible for any misunderstandings or representation of its services.
2. ASA will not be held responsible for any perceived consequential or incidental damages, loss or injury that may result due to the failure of or performance of our website, or the interruption or defect or delays in transmissions or computer viruses that may be transmitted. ASA will ensure that up to date anti-viral software is maintained on its website and when within it’s’ control.
Privacy Act 1988
1. ASA collects personal information such as names, postal and email addresses, telephone and Skype numbers when clients make online bookings for our services. This information is only used to fulfil your specific request for an appointment unless you give us permission to use it for another purpose such as to include you in our mailing list or when providing a testimonial.
2. ASA will maintain strict confidentiality regarding the client’s personal information and readings. Information will not be disclosed to any other third party without the prior written consent of the client.
3. ASA will not sell, trade or grant access to your personal information to other organisations.
4. Personal financial details such as credit card details occur over a secure independent site such as PayPal and are not kept by ASA.
Cookie/Tracking Technology
1. Our site may use standard cookie and tracking technology depending on the features offered. Cookies are useful for gathering information such as browser type and operating system, tracking the number of visitors and understanding how visitors use the Site. Cookies can also help customize the site for visitors. Personal information cannot be collected via cookies and other tracking technology used on this site.
General
1. All Services supplied by ASA are subject to the laws of South Australia.
2. ASA reserves the right to review these terms and conditions at any time.
3. ASA may modify these terms and conditions without notice.
